The Essential Troubleshooting Steps

Before starting the loader

  • Use a USB stick when starting the loader (some anti-cheats scan your disk).

  • Disable Windows Defender "Runtime Protection" and "Tamper Protection" in Windows Settings.

  • Make sure GPU drivers are up to date.

  • Disable overlays (GeForce Experience overlay for NVIDIA, AMD overlay for AMD, Discord, Steam).

  • Check for Windows updates.

Windows / BIOS settings to disable

  • GPU Acceleration

  • Xbox Game Bar overlay

  • Windows Game Mode

  • Memory Integrity (Core isolation) in Windows Security

  • Secure Boot in BIOS

  • Any XMP or other RAM overclock profiles

Also:

  • Make sure BIOS is up to date.

  • Disable any overclocking and uninstall apps like MSI Afterburner.

  • Reset BIOS to defaults if needed.

Uninstall conflicting software

  • Uninstall any other antivirus software or always-running anti-cheats like Vanguard or FACEIT.

  • If you cannot uninstall a service, open an elevated Command Prompt and run:

    • sc stop

    • sc delete

(Replace with the actual service, e.g., vgk)

Reinstall Windows (last resort)

Only consider a fresh Windows reinstall after completing all previous steps. Reinstall from a USB stick (not via Windows Settings). You can choose to keep your files during reinstall.

Windows 11 Insider builds and custom ISOs are not supported.

The panic/exit key is set to F12 in all games — avoid pressing it accidentally.

Laggy ESP Fix

  • Ensure GPU drivers are updated.

  • Disable overlays (NVIDIA/AMD overlay, Discord, Steam).

  • Disable other overlays such as GeForce Experience, Discord, Medal, OverWolf.

  • Check for Windows updates.

  • Do not use RamCleaner on Escape from Tarkov (may cause ESP issues).

A. Troubleshooting Loader Startup Errors

  • Follow the essential troubleshooting steps above.

  • Try starting the loader with and without a VPN. If you have multiple VPNs/clients, disable them and try Cloudflare VPN from https://1.1.1.1.

  • Try connecting from another network or tethering from your phone.

B. Overlay disappears / does not show / black screen

  • Follow the essential troubleshooting steps above.

  • Set the game to Borderless windowed instead of Fullscreen.

  • Disable any overlays (NVIDIA GeForce, Discord, Medal, etc.).

  • Disable GPU acceleration in Windows.

  • Disable Game Mode in Windows.

  • Reinstall / update GPU drivers and software.

  • Launch the game from the launcher (not a desktop shortcut).

  • Avoid disabling the watermark (misc tab).

  • Common overlays to disable if issues occur: AMD overlay, Steam overlay, OverWolf, MSI Afterburner, RivaTuner, Xbox Game Bar.

C. Laggy Overlay

  • Limit in-game FPS until the menu stops lagging.

  • Toggle V-SYNC on/off.

  • For Call of Duty: enable in-game DLSS (NVIDIA) or Fidelity (AMD).

  • Disable Fullscreen Optimizations on the game's .exe (Properties > Compatibility).

  • Disable Intel Turbo Boost by setting Maximum processor state to 99% in Windows Power Options.

  • Reinstall / update GPU drivers and software.

  • Avoid recording, screen sharing, or playing videos in the background.

D. Unable to Click on the Menu

  • Do not run the game or launcher as Administrator (Steam, Origin, etc.).

  • To disable: go to the launcher .exe > Right click > Properties > Compatibility > uncheck "Run this program as administrator".

E. ESP Shifted / Not On Players

  • Set the game to display on only one screen.

  • Ensure game resolution is 16:9 (ultra-wide 21:9 not supported).

F. Aimbot Not Working

  • Uninstall mouse software such as G Hub or Razer Synapse and retry.

  • Aimbot sensitivity depends on mouse sensitivity — lower mouse sensitivity if aimbot is not accurate.

G. Error (0xC1843): An Antivirus or Anticheat Running

  • Identify and uninstall the problematic software from "Programs and Features" in Windows.

  • If uninstall isn't possible, stop and delete the service from an elevated Command Prompt:

    • sc stop

    • sc delete

Use the following list to identify services/programs to remove.
