To find the secure boot status do this:

Open System Information

Open msinfo32 by typing msinfo32 in Windows search.

Go to System Summary

Check Secure Boot State

Find the line called "Secure Boot State". If it's "Off" or "Unsupported", then you are good to go.

In case your secure boot is on, disable it by following the next guide:

Disable Secure Boot

Do this to disable secure boot:

Enter BIOS

Open advanced settings

Open the BOOT / SECURITY section

Open the section BOOT (might also be called SECURITY).

Open SECURE BOOT subsection

Open KEY MANAGEMENT subsection

Clear secure boot keys

Click "CLEAR SECURE BOOT KEYS".

Save and restart

Save your BIOS settings and restart your PC.
