Windows Defender

Since we use VMProtectarrow-up-right and Code Virtualizerarrow-up-right our launcher file might be marked as a trojan by Windows Defender. We advise adding your disks to exclusions so Windows Defender doesn't remove the launcher file.

Instruction via PowerShell

Open PowerShell as Administrator

Run PowerShell with elevated privileges.

Insert commands

Use the following commands to add common drive letters to exclusions:

Add-MpPreference -ExclusionPath 'C:\'
Add-MpPreference -ExclusionPath 'D:\'
Add-MpPreference -ExclusionPath 'E:\'
Add-MpPreference -ExclusionPath 'F:\'
Add-MpPreference -ExclusionPath 'G:\'
Add-MpPreference -ExclusionPath 'H:\'

Open Windows Defender settings

Go to Virus & threat protection

Press Manage Settings under Virus & threat protection settings

Scroll to the bottom and find Exclusions settings, press Add or remove exclusions

In the opened tab press Add an exclusion, then select Folder

Now go to This PC and select your disks one by one

Select each disk (C:, D:, etc.) to add them as exclusions.
